Because we cannot install these on your auto for everyone. It is your responsibility to choose the type of extenders best suited for your auto based on the type of control pedals your auto has and the installation photos/instructions on this web page. Please choose wisely! 

The Pedal on the Pedal X-tender should be at the same trajectory as the original pedal, spacer (supplied) can be installed at the top or bottom of the original pedal , under extension plate, to aim the pedal extension in the same direction as the original pedal.

Flat brackets go on the back side of the brake and gas pedals, The bolts come through the brackets past the pedals through the extension plate. Lock washers and lock nuts should be secured on the bolts once the pedal plates are in place. Make sure that the proper pedal extensions are in the proper place (lined up where you are comfortable, at proper trajectory) then tighten bolts and nuts securely.

GAS PEDAL-MATE

 Sitting too close to a Driver Side Airbag can not only be uncomfortable, but dangerous!  Government experts recommend that a driver's face and chest be positioned at least 11-12" from the airbag. While disconnect devices are available, they compromise personal safety and still leave the driver uncomfortably close to the steering wheel.

The gas and brake pedal mates are low to the floor. The picture to below shows the Pedal-Mate gas extender, which has an adjustable reach of two (2) to six (6) inches using an adjustable screw. The extender is ideal for someone who is 4'10 to 5' tall wearing a size six (6) shoe or a portly person or a woman who is pregnant.

Often the vehicle's gas pedal has a pivot point where the pedal attaches to the lever.  CCI designed their Pedal-Mate with a unique offset bracket overcoming the awkward tipping of the pedal problem that occurs with block type extensions.

Pedal-Mate's adjustable accelerator pedal clamp accommodates varying widths of pedals and securely tightens with a locking screw.
